The Alpha Course at River of Life Community Church, Haverhill, is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life. Join us for a meal, a talk and discussion in a relaxed setting! If you have questions about Christianity, or are a new Christian, we would love to invite you to join the next Alpha course at River of Life Community Church.

The Alpha course consists of a series of talks, looking at topics such as 'Who is Jesus?' and 'Why and how do I pray?’. We meet for supper and each talk is followed by discussion in small groups.

Since 1992, the Alpha course has seen astonishing growth, both in the United Kingdom and internationally. From just five courses running in the UK in 1992 to over 7,000 registered Alpha courses today. From being run solely in the UK, the Alpha course has spread to 153 countries with latest figures for registered courses standing at 29,051. Over 7 million people have attended an Alpha Course worldwide.

River of Life Community Church is a church where, amongst other things, loving God, and loving others is our mission. The Alpha course is one of the many ways by which this mission is fulfilled.
