Christians Against Poverty (CAP)

Christians Against Poverty came to Haverhill in October 2005. It is a ministry of River of Life Community Church and headed up by Henry Wilson (pictured below right) along with a number of volunteers.

We offer a free debt counselling service to anyone, regardless of belief, to the people of Haverhill and the surrounding area.

Debt affects people from all walks of life. It is so easy to get into, and so difficult to get out of. Sadly the effects on people’s lives can be devastating, depression, marriage breakdown and despair to name but a few. Christians Against Poverty not only believe in offering people a sustainable solution to their debt problem, but also a hope for the future by revealing to clients the God who loves them.
