Our History

River of Life began as a home group consisting of 6 people in September 1998 and has grown steadily since.

 

We’ve met in the local sports centre, a youth centre and currently meet at a community centre on the Chalkstone estate but are actively looking for larger premises to facilitate more growth and to increase our church activities.

 

We are a modern, multicultural, all aged, bible based church that is committed to loving God and loving others. Haverhill has had quite a negative image over the years but we believe that through God’s love we can be a positive influence on our community and can help many, many people discover the love of Jesus for themselves.
