Paul and Wendy founded River of Life in September 1999, with a group of local people, having previously been leaders in a church in East London. Paul is the Senior Pastor and Wendy leads the Youth work for the 9-13 year olds as well as being a nurse. They have two great teenage children, James and Zoe.

Ld Henry Angela

Henry and Angela Wilson

Henry and Angela have been involved with River of Life since September 2004. Angela looks after the finances & Henry heads up the REACH projects. Henry is a native of the town with a passion for reaching out into the community with the love of Jesus. They have 2 teenage children and are only just beginning to look old enough.

Alex and Oge Osuchukwu

Alex and Oge are originally from Nigeria. Alex first responded to God as a year nine student and became more aware of his Christian journey in 1983. Married to Oge in 1994 and blessed with Favour, Joshua and Moses. Both Alex & Oge work in the NHS and are passionate about caring for people.

Chris and Ruth Plumb

Chris and Ruth have been part of River of Life since the beginning. Chris is part of the leadership team and Ruth helps lead the Prayer Ministry team. Chris is also the Worship Leader. They both have a passion to lead people into the presence of God through worship.
